Artist's Statement:

Thomas Baugnet has been working as a professional potter since 1990. His focus is functional pottery for the home; a synergy of fine craftsmanship, ergonomics, and beauty. Thomas' creations encompass a wide range of items for the kitchen, bath, patio and garden. He specializes in custom dinnerware, and creates anything from the common and comfortable, to highly specific items.

The water and woods of the Upper Peninsula has been an inspiration to Thomas' development of color, form, and detail in his work.
